Since entering into a management agreement with Matt Davenport Productions in April of this year, PGT Entertainment has completed its move of rehearsal, costume and scenic storage from Florida to Tennessee. This summer, PGT rehearsed three Princess Cruises casts at the newly renovated MDP facility which is located in White House, TN, and all three casts are now successfully performing on their "stages at sea." MDP has added a “PGT Wing” to their facility there, with several staff members dedicated to the PGT side of the operation. The MDP 15,000 foot rehearsal facility is a great fit for PGT, especially when rehearsing multiple casts. Meanwhile, PGT has kept its core staff in Florida, having moved that office to a new location in Merritt Island.
Says PGT President Cathy Terhune, "We are all excited about combining resources of these two very dynamic and successful entities, while keeping the PGT brand intact, with its reputation for excellence within the cruise industry."
